Question: When they give me COPR, can I travel or do I have to wait for my PR to leave the country? I am not from a visa exempt country. Thanks!

My background check took longer than normal because I had some red flags from prior conviction. I applied for PR and rehabilitation. My rehabilitation got approved in April 2017. People with a criminal background are taken through a more tedious background check.

They didn't. I gave them a bunch of proof. They asked for our marriage certificate, we got married after we applied through common law.

If you have been convicted of a crime, does the situation change? They are aware, I included all documents in my application and rehabilitation has been granted.
