every application has a time limit which is approx 2 months, if you started working on the application 2 months ago then it does get expired. hope this was useful. regards, Kshitiz

Hi Spand806, If you had applied for a visitors visa after filing for her PR application and you had got your AOR 2, the visitors visa will be granted for 10 years for sure no doubts about that. Dont worry and file it ASAP. Regards, Kshitiz

Hi Muskaan, The visa will be stamped by CIC, you should expect 7-10 days for stamping. if in case you feel that tickets are booked for an earlier date, then you can send an email to CIC with the copy of your tickets and ask them to prioritise. hope this helps. Regards, Kshitiz

Hey dont worry you are on the right track and it will come just a time taking process which starts to test the nerves. Currently looking at July and August applications it looks like the SA comes 5-10 days after getting your AOR1, so fingers crossed and hope we all get it soon. :P

Hi Sharan, spoke with my contact at NDVO, he said that the files that reach the delhi office till Oct will get fast tracked anything coming post nov will get delayed due to christmas and stuff. Expect the Aug Sep applications to get cleared between Jan and Feb 2017. Regards, Kshitiz

finally got our AOR1 yesterday. :)

We are still waiting for our AOR1 although our application had reached CIC on 29th August. Who all feel that there application is delayed, judging by the numbers we are hoping to get it today or tomorrow. :(
