Not necessarily. You might be processed by Ottawa, but as you reside in Brazil, you are requested to send passports to your local VO. But anyway, happy for you! :D And hope to get the golden email today as well!

Congratulations, GusCunha!! This is normal, many people see no change in their profiles. It may change later after they stamp your visa and issue COPR. What's your VO?? Ottawa? Congrats, CCMA!! Let it rain!!!

Many people from Jan thread have crossed the six months mark already. And still nothing. I will be waiting for 6 months in a few days. I guess nobody would argue that the average processing time has increased recently. Despite CIC sends half of previous ITA numbers these days. I don't...

I am FSW Outland. Probably the corner is -------------------------------------| that long :) My BG is In Progress since 11 Jul, but I've seen people waiting even more after BG change. This is scary. Moreover, yesterday one of NB PNP applicants from my country got PPR from the local VO. His AOR...

I am asking the very same question! The lucky guys from my country got their PPRs within 2-3 months from the local VO. Whereas I am waiting for almost 6 months already. During the first 3 months my case was collecting dust at Ottawa office completely untouched >:(

There was another draw today. CRS 488, 755 applications selected. And no PPRs for us >:(

YOU don't talk about landing procedure. You have taken my words from the context of discussion and now trying to prove you were right. The message you replied to originally was his follow up question. The original message: "I have the COPR and single entry visa with me. Can I land in Canada...

He's got COPR and visa. He lands and goes home. He is a PR after that, just doesn't have the card yet. Read his first post [url]http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/aor-jan-2016-lets-get-together-t389889.0.html;msg5345910#msg5345910[url] and then argue. How can anybody...

Could you prove your words? The guy says his wife will bring the PR card from Canada to him. He will leave his home country with PR card. So what's the problem? And there is a permanent resident travel document for those who are outside Canada without PR card. One can apply for this document...

Yes, this will work out. Do not worry. I told you about permanent resident travel document just in case so you know there are other options.

    AOR JAN 2016 - let's get together

Yes you can. You even can land and take the next fight back home. You will need either your PR card or permanent resident travel document http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=064&top=10 to come back
