I forgot how many days exactly, but it was more than a month. Everyone else here who got this email raised a webform about landing. goodluck!

I used that letter to get a new SIN number (the one that doesnt start with "9") along with my passport and a phone bill. I got my SIN after a week of applying online.

You can apply online thru service canada website. You will need to provide a scanned copy of your pr confirmation letter, passport, and 1 document for proof of address. Your new sin will take about a week to be finalized.

I raised a webform yesterday, and CIC Saskatoon only took a day for them to respond. Where are you from? It's possible that if your nearest visa office is in a bigger city (ie.
