Absolutely, I did not buy into that crap either.

Try inserting both first name and middle name in the first name column (e.g. J+Singh=first name). It worked for me.

Thank you for your response. I just got off the phone with CIC call centre. Little surprised to learn that CIC Ottawa processes files based on the country of origin. The agent explained that a file at Ottawa won't process any faster than the home country LVO. Does that make sense to you guys?

My parents passed their medical little over two months ago. Their "Background Check" status shows "Not started" in MyCIC. Does it really mean the VO hasn't touched their file since receiving the medical? Or, are the MyCIC notations not reflective of what's going in the background? Any idea how...

Not sure if that would help because a VO has a mind of its own. We should, at the very least, keep this forum rolling; to vent our frustrations and to know where others are at.
