Received the citizenship certificate. May 10th. It was likely delivered yesterday or today.

Application closed on April 29th. Dashboard updated today ie May 2nd.

i have applied for it on march 28th. got it yesterday ie april 28th. although it was generated a day before my citizenship ceremony ie april 25th.

Took the oath. Canadian from today. Thanks to everyone in this forum. Appreciate all the helps. By the way how long it takes to receive an update in the dashboard after taking the oath and sending the mail?

@Soj917 my dashboard got updated today. it appears the tracker changed ie citizenship oath updated to in progress around the time there was an outage couple of weeks back. best of luck for the citizenship ceremony.

@Soj917 i got two concerns. we have to send an emai for the affirmation of citizenship. it mentions the format to write the headline. 1. is the time we have to mention needs to be in PDT? common sense suggest it should be but i was wondering because there are multiple time in different...

i think after the ssl certification expiry issue they faced couple of weeks back the updates in the new dashboard is not working properly.

i can understand the tough time you are going through. i think it will not take 27 months. 27 months is amount it took them in the recent past to finish 80% of the applications. i believe they are speeding up the process so it likely going to be around 18-20 months for 80% of the applications...

From what i have seen it is usually updated at around 6AM PDT. So I just check between 6-9 AM PDT.

this update should not take time generally. i think they do not have IT resource available currently to fix it. hopefully atleast they are aware of this.

by the looks of it, their HTTPS certificate expired. does not look like a major issue. usually takes minutes to solve.

IRCC informed me last month that it takes on average 6-8 weeks to get the invitation for the citizenship ceremony after all other steps are completed. This is the case for most applications. Unfortunately at this point not for me.
