    Wrong upfront medical category

Thank you very much Reb for your reply. The thing is that the panel physician had a i-don't-care attitude and didn't want to talk about it with me. Maybe I should redo the medical exam with another physician. Does anyone know if it's a problem if I do the medical exam twice?

    Wrong upfront medical category

Hi, I just came back from an upfront medical exam for my coop work permit (b/c I will have placements in hospitals). The physician chose the upfront medical category "worker" and not "student". I asked him if he could change it and he said it wouldn't matter since that it's the same medical...

    1) I guess you did work illegally since that you weren't enrolled as a student anymore and you hadn't applied for your PGWP. 2) The penalty can be a PGWP refusal, having to leave Canada, being refused entry for a certain amount of time and others... I suggest you should consult with an...

Post-graduation Work Permits For 1 year certificate program?

Yes, you will probably be able to get 1 one year PGWP. However, keep in mind that the PGWP is a one time opportunity and that if your goal is PR, you should opt for a longer program. You won't get a job right away but ned at least one year of full time work experience for PR.

Is anyone ever denied a PGWP if they meet the eligibility requirements?

There is never a guarantee for a visa. Some people got it denied even if they had all the required documents etc. And no, it isn't a lottery. If you have all the necessary documents and have all the requirements it should be fine as long as you apply within the 90 days after graduation.

Just google: flagpoling PGWP and the first result should show you all the posts on canadavisa.com about this topic. Lots of people tell about their experience on there. They also mention what documents they brought to the POE. But I guess you need: - passport ( watch the expiry date because...

    How is this possible?

I recommend to apply from within Canada. The problem is that you still have to have a status in Canada when you apply. If you leave the country you kinda give up your status as a student. Are you from Germany? If yes, you are from a visa exempted country. Then you can try to get your PGWP by...
