March 24 app and my husband will land this week, so happy ! To everyone waiting, when you get the visa it's incredible and worth the wait.

there is no average time. We just were granted our visa yesterday and we sent our app March 24 of this year. It all depends on the case, the file, the officer.

Look into blue cross. That is what I am getting for my husband. the rate is about 200 and change for the three months for 100k in coverage. :)

We have a similar timeline too. March 24 received, SA March 14, In process May 5, AOR2 May 24, PPR June 13.

I am also under the new kit. So my other friends waiting under the new process did not do their medicals. For us, he had booked his medical a month in advance and was allowed to do it because he just sneaked in before the February 1st change.

yes medical was sent upfront - he completed January 21, we did not submit until March 23

Good morning, I submitted the medical upfront with my application. He completed it January 21, it changed to passed a day before sponsor approval. The background check went into process the same day I got the email. I sent the police check upfront as well.
