I've just tried 5 different variations using 'british subject' in the passport section. still nothing.

I've tried every combination i can think of (well over 100), including the ones that have been succesful for other people, it just won't work. I'll have to just sit it out and wait.

I wish i could link my application to myCIC, the only thing i have is ecas, and its so frustrating not being able to see more information. I'm on a very similar timeline to both of you. I too am hoping for some news before christmas, but i'm not holding my breath.

British isn't one of the options. I put in Scottish.

Hi folks, thanks for all the responses. Yes, what i meant to say was, i've applied to extend my visitors status. One of the reasons i didn't do an inland sponsorship is because it restricts the coming and going. I'll probably take the risk and head home to the UK for a few weeks.
