I Didn't hear anything for a few months... my AOR1 was sent out in a batch email long after the ECAS changed to in process. But we sent it all in March and I believe it was in June they started processing in Mexico. Your wife is the PA? And you are in the DR? We also applied for a visitor visa...

We paid all fees upfront. They also requested photos but told us we could send them with the next request which will hopefully be the PPR :)

I know.. Some people get it so fast!! We are heading to the Dominican to see him in a few weeks so at least we have that to look forward to :) Hopefully we will get some good news over the holidays! :D ;D

August - They requested updated sched A and Medical and nothing since.

Does the Background change when they actually just begin it .. or does it change mid way through.. at the end... cause its disheartening if it has not even been started at all yet.

March Application here... it's been just over a month for schedule A update and medical request. Still in progress

The only thing that we apostilled was our wedding certificate. We sent away the birth certificate etc to the Dominican Embassy and had it all translated and notorized there

March Applicant.. Still Waiting.... Medical just requested and completed as well as additional docs and photos. Waiting is hard!

Has anyone here got a request for new photos and uploaded them online through MyCIC? Just wondering if it's as easy as I am hoping it will be and if we should also send in the actual photos to Mexico with the additional docs and medical.

We actually linked my husbands visitor visa CIC accouunt and it does show a bit more information than Ecas but still not very much.

Is the linking account only for paper applications?
