Express Entry applicants from Brazil, connect here!

I'm pretty sure that's related to my work experience. I worked most of my life as a freelancer, and in the freelance world, it's common to get only a receipt as a proof of payment. Also, the companies you work for rarely sign the work booklet (carteira de trabalho). It's reasonable that they are...

They are indeed working today. I did not get the PPR yet, but SPVO sent me an email to inform they scheduled an interview with me. Another step in this never ending journey, but at least something is happening. As long as I don't live in São Paulo, I will run to buy the plane tickets and be there.

I don't want to be the bearer of the bad news, but mine is in progress since end of July. So far, no PPR. But to look on the bright side, usually when you have any changes, it means that someone had access to your profile. And at this point, any movement is a good sign. They could ask for...

I requested the GCMS notes today for the first time. Apparently the estimate time to receive the notes has changed from 30 days to 50 days. But after playing the "waiting game" for so long, 30 or 50 days are all the same to me. I just hope to find some useful information on the notes.

That's (usually) a standard procedure. Mine was the same, medicals went to passed two days after AOR. And regarding the waiting time, we never know. Maybe we are the unlucky ones and things will get better for those who are applying now. The whole immigration system is a conundrum.

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

It's like the AOR is our wife who is pregnant and we are counting every month of her pregnancy. Hopefully the "baby PPR" will born in the 9th month.

Yeah, I believe we are all in the same boat. I understand they have a lot of applications to process, but still, I don't see how it can take almost a year (or in some cases, even beyond that). So many plans had to be postponed or canceled. And there is absolutely nothing we can do, but wait.

You're right. I just got tired of making predictions. If I don't hear anything until the end of the year, I will just move on with my life.

Please, add me on the (unfortunate) list. FSW Outland AOR March 14th

Agreed! If we take a look on topics from other countries in this forum (like "applicants from Bangladesh") they will only post in English. So, I believe it would be better that way. Also, don't mind if your English skills are not great. I believe none of us are immune to grammar mistakes. Just...

Express Entry applicants from Brazil, connect here!

To be fair, SPVO did ask for further proof of my work experience, which I sent two months ago. I'm pretty sure that's the reason for the delay, but the lack of a due date for an answer frustrates me. I could get an answer tomorrow or maybe even next year. When you go beyond the 6 months mark...

I don't mind at all. But what do you mean by "stage"? Right now, I have my BG as "in process" and 7 months and half since AOR.

Ohh got it. I guess we are all professionals in the art of waiting by now. The never-ending waiting game.

I believe you posted in another topic that Ottawa or SPVO recommended an interview with you. Did that happen?

Yeah, I thought the same. But when you realize that, from all the people from this topic who have been waiting more than 6 months, I'm the only FSW and all the rest are PNP. So, I really can't understand why PNP is taking longer than FSW. Doesn't make any sense.

Still waiting. If we take a look at the people in the forum, we would have a better chance to hear some news in the end of the 7th month or in the 8th month. I remember a guy who made this statistic and the results were something like that. Unfortunately all we can do is hope for the better.
