I submitted the passports for myself and my wife at Mumbai VFS on 28/03. CIC portal still shows BG check is in progress.. VFS tracker shows it's being processed by Canada visa office, New Delhi..

I had sent an email to cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca and delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca (my local visa office is Delhi as mentioned in the ITA).

Hi, You can drop an email to CIC informing them about the change in marital status. They will reply to you within a week or two on the next steps. They may tell you to submit few forms along with marriage related proofs and spouse documents. All the best

No update till now.. it's been more than 3 months now.. do you also have similar type of application ?

Ok.. any idea on the average timeline that they take to revert? I got to know from the forum and couple of others who resemble our case that they take 6-8 weeks... but now it's already 10 weeks
