Hi all, My husband received his passport request today and since he is currently in Canada on a TRV we are sending it to Ottawa. Since we are in Ottawa, can we physically bring it there or does it have to be mailed? Thank you for any answers.

RCMP check arrived in São Paulo last Thursday and today my husband received the passport request :) so excited!

You don't necessarily need it, but be prepared for them to request it. My husband had also spent more than six months in Canada prior to the application and we just got a request for an RCMP check on the 30th. They may or may not request it, but don't assume they won't.
