Finally got the invite to the oath ceremony (virtual) :) Email came in on oct 7th, ceremony is scheduled Oct 18th.

So I decided to login to ECAS today and saw that it says Decision Made. Got very excited, however, when I clicked on it, the latest update was We started processing your application on October 27, 2020. I was also wondering why everyone was commenting that they passed the test/background check...

Just use Discover Canada guide that was sent to you, questions are based on that material only. I read it once, then went through the questions they have at the end of the guide, double checked the history and government parts (those were hardest for me to remember) and passed the test in less...

They actually sent me interview date before I passed my test. I'm guessing maybe my office (Saskatoon) is not nearly as busy as bigger cities. I also didn't need to provide fingerprints, if that makes any difference.

It's so relieving to see things moving after such a long wait! I passed my citizenship test yesterday and my test interview date is May 13th.

Don't stress out, you'll be fine. Applicants from USA very rarely have their apps denied. And you seem to have lots of proof so really nothing to worry about. :)

I received my COPR yesterday. :) Going to land in a few weeks. Can't wait!

Does your passport allow you to travel to EU without a visa? If yes, you don't need eTA. To go back to Canada you don't need eTA because you have PR card. To travel to USA you need ESTA.

Provide Canadian marriage certificate and it'll be just fine.

That's totally fine. I got DM on ECAS on jan 23rd but the update on MyCIC was mad eonly on feb 1st, a day after they received photos they asked in PPR email.

Exactly. That's why I'm wondering whether they'll send me the COPR or is it included in the package they want me to pick up. BTW, MyCIC finally got updated. (This application has been approved)
