If you didn't already know, in Saskatchewan you can a health card right after landing. My wife landed at North Portal SK in December 2016. She applied for her health card the next day and had her health card about one week later.

It took just under 2 weeks in our case.

You can also get it right away in Saskatchewan. My wife landed on a Sunday and had her SK health card by Friday. They accept the signed COPR as eligibility.

The status in my myCIC account never changed to provided - even though my wife provided the required document for both document requests, received her visa, and landed.
