Yes every designation is a separate entry unless your company changed the name of your designation just like that. Example, my bank changed the name of our position name from Personal banking officer to Financial Advisor for branding purposes.. same job, same duties, same life, same salary...

If you are a new permanent resident who has not received a pr card, you can travel on your work visa if its not expired or cancelled. Border officials usually cancel the 6 month immigrant visa you receive with the copr but not your previous multiple entry visa. If thats valid, travel on that.

Depends on what information you updated. For things like address changes, most people don't get updates.

I think most of them come in batches. In the last few months, pnps and outland applicants were getting pprs. Now its turned back to CEC since may. Next could be FSW. A few lucky ones get it before time. Besides, lots get pprs soon after Bckground check goes in progress. Mine has been in progress...
