Do we need to do upload receipts after the medical exam has been done by a registered physician? Status (your action required) has not changed even after 7 days since medical was done.

We'll be paying $260 tomorrow in Brampton, there were a few cheaper options as well in Mississauga but they were all offering X-Ray at a different location.

Hi, can you please share details how were you able to get OHIP? My spouse has received OWP, SIN and has a job offer (starting date is in 3 weeks), can we go to Service Canada and apply for OHIP? Is it really that simple?

oh boy! It was less than $150 in India for my PR, and I thought it's expensive.

They give out generic (inquiry related) and usually out-dated information, I believe it's because they work on their ticketing system which just has basic access to other systems on which actual work is done. Our timelines are similar, I am hopeful your approval will come this week.

Looks like i made a mistake, should have waited another week and applied in July :(

....and July applicants continue to receive OWP approvals. OWP applications have more or less stopped being processed for June applicants.

No point in calling CIC, unless you need general information. The reps have absolutely no authority or clarity about apps. For example - we called to inquire about AoR, they said it will take a month, AoR came the next day.
