If all you are doing is mailing it from Montreal, then this should be fine. None of your actual documentation is changing. They do not care where the mail is coming from (only that it arrives).

Sydney NS is where you send your documents. However, the Visa Office Processing Center of your application WILL be different. They will either send it to Ottawa, or to your local visa office. If any of your emails, or medical request comes from Ottawa, then that is likely where they are...
