My friend used a representative, so linking won't be an option but it's good to know that the PR card can still come even though the status on the portal is still in review . Thanks!

I'd like to know if anyone received their PR card even though photo status still states "in review with IRCC" or does it have to change to "approved" first? Please share if this applies to you. Thanks!

July 2020, Inland Spousal PR Applications

This is basically the final process of her application. Not sure why you got the email and not her but anyways she has to reply to that email address answering the questions on the PDF, such as, original entry, last entry to Canada, etc. Once that is done, they will send another email - within...

Nothing! The next email from them will contain a temporary password for you to create your PR portal account. There you will upload your photo.

July 2020, Inland Spousal PR Applications

A question for all three of you above - are you all located in Vancouver or is your processing office Vancouver? I know someone who is also waiting for eCOPR since June 21 (lives in Vancouver). They called IRCC 1-888 number last Friday and the agent said it usually takes 2 weeks after which they...

    Inland spousal sponsorship

That to me seems like your file is complete and you are now a Permanent Resident. I know much recently IRCC has been emailing applicants to create an online PR portal through which the applicant uploads their photo and complete other required info on there. A few days later, IRCC uploads the...

    Inland spousal sponsorship

That's incorrect! ECAS isn't the same as GCKey. An applicant can log in to ECAS to see the updates on their application but if they do link their account to their GCKey, then the representative will cease to receive updates on the file.

Consultant advised to not link paper file online and continue to receive emails

    1. You wouldn't see anything related to biometrics on ECAS. 2. If it says your medical have been received, it most likely has passed. It will stay this way until the end. 3. I'm not sure but I don't think you will receive any email for that. The update can only be seen on GCKey.
