I get you...my PR Card also expires next week. Although, I anticipated the delay and sent in my application for a card renewal in January but there's no feedback from them on that either. The feeling of potentially being unable to travel out of Canada and back freely is definitely real!

Calgary based applicant here as well. 17 months wait so far, and counting. I've had to apply for a PR Card renewal cos my current card expires next month.

Well, I guess all we can do is wait and hope it doesn't take too long. The interval between taking the test and the oath is another we don't know how long the wait is going to be for.

This is where it becomes tricky because there's sometimes unforeseen travel needs that show up.

If they could pull that off, it'll be awesome
