Did all Sep folks get their BG started? I'm AOR 17 Sep and still waiting, the BG check has not even started yet. I have ordered gcms notes but it's really unnerving

Hi all, Can I ask a question to you guys who apply outside Canada? It's been exactly 6 months since AOR and my BG check has not even gone to IP yet, so I gave a call to 1-613-944-4000, but the agent said that since my visa office is outside of Canada (in Singapore) so they can't answer question...

Mine still waiting too :( Completing 6 months on 17 Mar and BG check is still in process :( I am sooo nervous :-X

How do you guys know your visa office by the way (like ottawa,...)? I'm FSW Outland from Vietnam

So we can call the CIC after 6 months passed to inquire about our application right? Some people advised to order gcms notes, but understand that it might take 30 days to get that.

@safety009: I'm applying from singapore too, still waiting :( so you BG changed to in progress just now only? Who else in sept is waiting?

Congrats to all who made it! My AOR is on 17 Sep (FSW Outland) and I still haven't heard anything (BG check not started). Is this unusual? Anyone has any idea which date the CIC is doing now?
