Despite having called them to update my delivery address and calling again to confirm they had the new address my passport was delivered today the OLD address. I'm lucky I have a good relationship with the new tenants and they were able to sign the package and let me know they received it...

I had a similar situation. Call them (18445339201 this number worked better for me ), explain your situation and ask for the status of the application. If necessary you can change the delivery address quite easily. That's what I did, although I haven't received the passport yet.

I sent a passport status request in May 16 and received this response YESTERDAY (07/27). It took them 70 days to reply this. LOL

Have you tried calling this number? 18445339201 I was able to call this number mid-day. There were 12 people ahead of me and the wait time wasn't that long. It was the only number that worked for me.

I have a different type of situation. I sent my application by mail on April 16 and I'm moving to a new address on June 20. I'm worried it won't be sent back in time. Is there a way to change the return address mid process ?

I just received the certificate by mail Today. I was not expecting it to be delivered so fast.

I took the Citizenship Oath yesterday and the application status was set to completed today. The certificate is expected to arrive by mail in two weeks and then...passport. Thanks to everybody in this forum for all the help and information provided in the last few years.

I think it's normal. I took the test on the same date and had no updates since then. Based on the information shared by other users on this thread it looks like updates come from 1 to 2 months after the test is completed.

I understand your frustration, but any piece of software is prone to errors and when it comes to these type of process is better to be safe than sorry. The alternative would be to pause all citizenship applications during the pandemic. Would you prefer that?

I just finished my test. It was relatively easy. I read discovery Canada once e did several online tests.

Online application here sent on May 12th and AOR on Aug 30th. I have seen updates on my application Yesterday and Today. Nothing besides that but I guess it means they're working on it.

How do you guys retrieve your application through ecas? I tried with the client number and application number but it doesn't work. The other application tracker works fine though.

I received my AOR today. Online application sent on May 12th. I also received a confirmation email but it was in the spam folder. In fact the first emails I was receiving were all going to the spam folder, which doesn’t seem to be happening anymore.
