My PR card application is approved today! (Photo request 19th Jul, new photos delivered 24 July).

How could it be that fast? Did you send you photo to Sydney CPC, NS?

I hope someone will shed some light into why and how they take so much time to print PR cards..

just spoke to an CIC agent, They are processing photo requests on 7 June. No estimate about the waiting time yet for those landing after that day.

Any update on the progress for those with photo requests? Are they still processing photo requests on 21 June?

14 May: Landed in Montreal 17 July: Photo request (over the phone upon inquiring about the Card status) 19 July: Photo request (via email) 24 July: new photos delivered to NS PR card no update till today. Called CIC this morning and they are still processing photo retakes requested on 25 May...

Resubmitted photos. (delivered on 24 June). Waiting for PR card. The waiting game with CIC is endless, since the AOR.

Inland. They didn't say anything when I sent my passport and photos to Ottawa. They even sent me the COPR with one of my photos attached to it. Will I have to wait for another 63 days?

I landed on 14 May. It's 64 days today and when I called CIC, the officer informed me that my photo does not meet the requirement and I will need to send them a new photo. This is frustrating, I wish they could have informed me earlier. For those who were in the same situation as me, how long...

Are you sure? I hope you're right, cos I submitted my requested PCC on 22 Dec and the status is still Provided.

You can go to the local police website and check the next available slot for fingerprinting. Depends on how busy your police station is; but I doubt it'll be more than a week. Just curious, you must've gone thru this in order to get your RCMP Criminal Record Check, right?

I got the Criminal Record Check request, but not the RCMP FINGERPRINTS. Obtaining the fingerprints is fairly easy, just book an appointment with your local police station. You can ask to get a hard copy of your fingerprints on spot.

No I just got my RCMP PCC done in Canada. Why did you think I'm from India btw? I'm not from there :)
