Did you write your application number in the subject and mentioned your UCI, date of birth etc in the email body?

It currently reads We are processing your application. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Honestly I have no idea. I was never vigilant. I only used to check my email daily. I started checking my application only after I came across this forum.
