Buddy.. Most likely because your medical is expiring soon they have asked for re-medical. Please do a GCMS note or ask your MP to do a inquiry on your behalf. Normally you should be landing before your medical expires.

Buddy it depends on when the doctor sends/uploads the report in CIC repository. Once they get the report you should get the DM in couple of days. All the best. We are in same situation as you but we haven't done the medical yet.
