    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

I just sent it back with a cover letter, AND included their Alberta Healthcare cards. They do not give a list of exactly WHICH forms of ID they accept - just that it needs to be at least 2 forms of ID, and both have to have their dates of birth on it, and one has to at least have a photo. So I...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Feeling pretty gutted today. Opened the mailbox, and our family's entire application pack was returned, as CIC claim we did not submit the minimum of 2 forms of ID for the kids. I submitted a copy of their passports, copy of PR card and birth certificates - which are THREE forms of ID.... So...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

You assume everyone is in the same boat..... and we're not. So don't make assumptions for everyone else. As an example - we have been living in Canada for over 6 years - originally from South Africa - and in the past 6 years, we have spent over $2000 just on renewing our SA passports from here...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

Easy to spend money you don't HAVE.... My children will be paying off this debt... reckless, reckless spending. Look at where it's gotten the US with their spiralling debt. Good luck to all of us. And Alberta won't have another $200bn to pay over in equalization payments in the next 15 years...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

You can argue anyway you like, but these ARE the facts so far, and they're getting worse as each month passes.... During the election campaign, Trudeau told Canadians that in order to fulfill his election promises, a Liberal administration would record projected deficits of: $9.9 billion in...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

The Libs don't give a crap - this was one of the main election "promises", and now that they're the government until at least the end of 2019, they could care less.... If it really was an important bill for them, they would have MADE time to get it heard.... Empty, empty election BS promises. I...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

This Lib govt was quick to criticize the previous Con govt on just about everything, and they made so many promises - just to fail miserably at all of them. All they've been able to do, is spend tax payers money at an alarming rate, and creating not a single job in the process. And they have...
