Same situation here... passport received on November 26th, still no update. Flight on 19th December.

The PPR request form has an email in it that you can email to. You need to mention urgent in the heading for them to reply. Normal response times are 28 days. I was given an updated PPR in less than 24hrs

Exactly, cant risk that with parents in this cold. Im getting their passport office changed so it all happens at the airport when they land.

Sorry, another question now. My parents already have Visa's for Canada, and are from Pakistan- a non- exempt country. Do they still need to send their original passports? The instructions say if you require a visa, which they already have. But not sure it applies to people who require visas...

Yes, someone mentioned that specifically. That he entered US, and spent an hour, but wasnt allowed to re enter as a landed PR since the quota was over

For anyones parents who have done their landing: 1) Did your parents have to show proof of funds? 2) I read in another thread that you have to queue at 6am if you land at the border, and even then people got rejected since they take 3-5 landing applications a day. Is that correct? I cant risk...

Wow! I went before noon and I was told there is no more space left for oath ceremonies tomorrow so I'll have to wait months. I kept telling them I need to travel and they really didnt seem to give a damn

Did test today. It was easy, the anxiety made me very unsure about each answer but I got it 20/20. Everyone who took test at 8am was getting oath for next day. I happened to be interviewed by the least friendliest person who made me run around for 3 hours to print completely unnecessary...

I printed the i94 on the spot and told them it's not available for old passport. They said okay...

This is so stupid, I've given so much info and they have both my passports in hand, now they want an i94 too. Can you please tell me how long it took to finally get through this? I am so effing annoyed at how its being made unnecessarily annoying
