It doesn't hurt to asked, since you have already send it to them. But am not living in the US, but i use a US address, it was quicker, with no issue.

I think that you should have notified cic about the delay you experience. Am also waiting on my 2 stage approval, did my medicals, police clearances. Actually i just received my police check from the states. It took about 4 months to obtatain.

Am outside the U.S, but it was sent to a US address.

Here goes my timeline for background check. Applied for background check on October 14, 2015. Credit card charge February 4th 2016. Received report February 12th 2016.
