Islamabad probably busy so they probably offloaded to Abu dhabi. It doesnt matter where visa is stamped. My only issue (personal level) is they should not mail passport international without your consent. However it is just me :)

is medical done for your parents? if yes then they have to expedite and do it before the expiry. usually they try to give four months at least before medical expire.

I think it is better to mail it to. Depends on cost involved, I would courier as well.

Just a quick update. Finally got PPR email. I saw "Decision Made" last Thursday on CIC Ecas but on GCKey, it was showing "Background Check in progress". I am a January 2014 applicant to sponsor parent. It took almost 4 years.

I used parents info for GCKey and it was very effective.

Ok thanks ... I assume background check is still in process as it says on GCKey. CIC has changed the way they show status update on eCas.

Do you guys know if it is normal to see "Decision Made" before PPR request sent to PA? ecas showing Decision Made suddenly but GCkey shows "We are processing your background check". Not sure what is going on.

yes, it was paid. So, most of the people got PPR after DM? is that what you are saying? I always thought DM after visa is issued and "Complete" happens when people land in Canada as PR.

Hi, Do you know if ecase says "Decision Made", how long it takes to get PPR request? I thought "Decision Made"" status online changes after visa issuance. Last status says Medical received.

In my case both PCC and medical came together. However, they wanted some more tests done after 6 months.

My mother's medical was in April. They asked for further medicals and nothing else since then. File is in London UK.
