They should look into online submissions like they are doing for Express Entry and Quebec immigration. Clearly with a 10K cap getting in would still be a challenge, but at least out of province applicants wouldn't be at such an obvious disadvantage.

I'm from the Canada Post 10:47am batch as well. Just hoping for the best while bracing for impact!

The 5k cap wasn't reached in one hour. There are people that got their application delivered as late as 11:50am on Jan 4th (from the spreadsheet) and got into the first 5K cap. That being said though, it is fair to assume that most of those 14K received until Jan 7th were received on Jan 4th...

If your CC was charged you're good! Just wait a bit longer, you're through! :)
