This morning I received another email stating that my application has been completed and I should wait for Edmonton IRCC to contact me for final steps. Does anyone know how roughly long it takes for them to contact me?

Thank you for the response.i didn't pay the PRPF so will get on that right away then. I thought when they are requesting for RPFP it's like they send you a letter stating it straight up and how to pay.

So I just got an email I believe it's the AIP. But it looks generic besides my name on top. Not sure what to do next. It just says I have been determined eligible for permanent residence under sponsorship. Requires me to pay RPRF and also it says to make sure my passport is valid.

yes she applied to change to visitor's status before July 31st but no response yet. Hopefully it is an easy fix and she can send back and try her lack on OWP but i guess right now whats important is for her to have a PR application in.

she found out this morning that the application was returned 2 days ago so the reason so isn't known.

congrats!!! The only better explanation i have for this is maybe applications were split among officers and some are faster than the rest. Is there any April - August applicants that have received good news?

That is great!! I am in Edmonton but i know for a fact it will be long for me to get the kind of positive news you got. I at least have my OWP. Congrats to September applicants that have positive news.

Hello, do you mean your OWP and AOR or you mean Approval in principal (AOR) ??? Because if you got AIP why would they send you OWP.. Happy for you either way but am Dec applicant and just trying to find out more. So did your sponsor get a SA? quote author=micky007...

Anyways it's CIC no surprise. for example i received my OWP before some September and October applicants yet i was a mid Dec applicant so with CIC anything is very possible.

But one person stated that they had just recieved there OWP not too long ago and the AIP.

hmm that's strange that means being out of status is better because you get to try your luck with CBSA and maybe get PR faster. This is news to me.

unless it is a technical know who situation (where this person knows someone in cic) there is no such thing as expedited with CIC. It just doesn't make much sense to me that they could skip all the way to September. Is this person sure it is AIP or AOR?? I mean happy for them :)!! I am a Dec...

Congrats to you!! That is such a skip. Does really say AIP? Did your sponsor get SA? It is just very strange hence the questions.
