I was on holiday in US so didn't get a chance to write sooner than now. I received my PR card sometime in the week of Aug 29. I'd already left for my holiday by then, my boyfriend brought the PR card with him when he joined me on my trip.

I received a photo retake request a couple of weeks ago. CIC received the new photos last week. Will I now be placed in the back of the PR card processing queue and wait another 40ish days?

Sorry to hear that! I reached out to CIC about a refund of the BOWP fee (I received my PPR a week after my BOWP application) back in mid-May and was informed that all refunds are processed within 4-6 weeks. It has been well over 10 weeks but no updates yet! >:(

Not sure why you're getting only TRV option. For the question 'How long are you planning to stay in Canada?', choose 'Temporarily - more than 6 months'. Also, for your current immigration status, choose 'Worker'. See if those changes help. Questions for Asivad/anyone who might help with BOWP...

I'm in the exact same boat. I received my AOR (PNP Inland) on Feb 16th and then a ghost email on Feb 17th. No updates since then. No progress on medicals or background. I really hope I'll get an update today. Fingers crossed for both of us!
