Very short time given to land

So this is actually a favor! I would have liked to redo it because it would have cost me much less money and hassle.

Very short time given to land

My case took over one year. I did my medical in April 2017 but my new baby September 2017.

Very short time given to land

Do you guys have any idea why this is such a short notice? I heard they give you about a year long time to land.

I was thinking of calling them to get an extension. Isn't this a good idea? If I do soft landing, how long should I stay there to get things about my PR card sorted. Is soft landing something that I can mention in the border in the interview? Thanks for your answer.

Very short time given to land

Hey guys, I got the COPR message today and have been given a ridiculously short time to land (validity of COPR is 01/09/2018). It is simply impossible to pack up a family life in this time period and even give notice to the landlord to leave. I wonder if anyone has faced or knows of such...

Expiry of PR documents 1 year after medical exam date

Thanks a lot! I tried to call this number and I was lost in the numerous menus along the way. I have to try again.

Thank you for the hint. Do you by any chance know of an appropriate CIC phone number for this purpose? Cheers.

Expiry of PR documents 1 year after medical exam date

The application is processed on Ottawa and the passports should be sent to London (VAC). Thanks.

Expiry of PR documents 1 year after medical exam date

Hey guys, I have got this CPCO-FinalRequest email which asks me to send the passports for PR confirmation and visa. But there is an statement repeated in a few places saying that: Your Permanent Resident document(s) will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations or earlier...

In my profile, it says eligibility under review. Is this supposed to be done before of after the meds, because my meds are partially done yet because of pregnancy?

I agree with you Faraz. I think this is for the eligibility for FSW not for CRS point calculation. Thanks.

Have you ever seen this CRS tool: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp. It says to get 50 points for foreign work experience, you need to have worked for 3 years in "only one occupation". I have three years but not in one NOC. On the other hand, in the actual application...

Is this the latest draw's cut-off or the minimum so far? I think I need to make sure about this. Do you have any reference to refer to about it or do you have any personal experience?

I now see that. For strange reasons, I don't have that preview button! This website always giving me problems. Sometimes there is a slot for LOE shown in document upload section as well as the fee schedule table and sometimes they aren't shown!

Thanks for your prompt answer. These are great points. I was actually not aware that if your CRS score is decreased but still above the cut-off they don't mind. To me, they mind everything :) I cannot see that recalculation of CRS before uploading section and the picture you posted does not...

Thanks Faraz. Since I had put the third job in express entry profile and I'm deleting it now in the eAPR, do you think I should explain the reason in a letter of explanation or it's not needed? A more general question is if you change things in eAPR so that it accidentally affect your CRS...

Filling out the express entry form

I have only my PhD and master's degree assessed for ECA. But I can now see that they also ask for uploading diplomas themselves in addition to the ECA results. So, should I also uploads my bachelor's degree or not because I don't have ECA for it? Thanks.

    ECA

If your confusion is with "Taught", it means they evaluated your master as course-based as opposed to research-based or a mix of both. This is my understanding. Otherwise you may need to paste more information from the assessment results.

Thank you Faraz. It looks like I don't need maximum for that and I can pass 67 with only 3 years.
