Hi, I send my application for a PR card renewal at the start of December. Should I expect to receive a confirmation that my application was recieved? I've had nothing on email or post, and my CIC client application page only shows my in progress citizenship application, nothing about my PR card...

I applied after my 55th birthday, late July 2020. Application currently sitting at "in process". Any evidence or opinion on whether my application might be processed faster than others age 54 or below, due to me having no language proficiency or test requirement?

I looked today and my application now shows as 'in process'

I mailed it on whatever date is on the spreadsheet. I didn't use tracking so don't know the receive date.
