To link your paper application to MyCIC, you should put principal applicant passport number (in your case, your wife's).

1) If you are only sponsoring your spouse and no other dependant family members - there is no minimum income requirement. 2) If your application contains any dependant family member being sponsored apart from your spouse - then you need to fill the financial evaluation form. Hope this helps.
