If IP2 means security check, then how do some people get their PPR on the same day? I am concerned because I have heard of longer security check for certain nationalities.

I hope so. Is it possible that I get into security screening? Could you please shed some lights on what exactly IP2 means and what checks should have been completed by now? I have been requested for CV and a supplementary form last month and I am concerned if I may go into security screening...

Hello. Finally a movement happened to IP2 from NA2 after 55 days. Can somebody tell me what does this actually mean? Does this mean the security check is done? When on average should I expect PPR? Thanks.

You know I just thought well, when I am applying for PR, it is perfectly clear that I am planning to stay in Canada and they just want to know my plans if by any reason I return to my country. Though, I just mentioned a plan for my home country and did not mention that I am planning to stay in...

This question was confusing for me also. Why they are asking about returning to the home country when I am applying to stay permanently in Canada? However, since I submitted exactly the same form some months ago while I extended my student visa, I preferred to keep the contents unchanged. Hope...

Hi Saeedj. We also received the same request. As I have searched through forums, this request happens for certain nationalities. I think you are also Iranian like me. That could be a reason they ask these documents.

Hello Guys. I am CEC inland applicant with my wife and we have been in NA2 BGC since September 1st. I have got an email which they required us to submit the CV and a brief supplementary information in one-page form. Is this normal? Has anyone got this message before? What can this mean? Thanks.

You could have simply mentioned that you are married but your wife would not come with you to Canada. In that case, you could have earned your desirable CRS scores. If you have mentioned that you are not married, though you misrepresented and nothing you can do.

Hello Guys. I am a resident of Canada and when I had a 3-week trip to my home country in March 2017, I got the PCC from my home country and submitted along my e-APR in June 2017. I was a bit confused that maybe, the PCC while I am in a country is not fine and I had to get the PCC after I left my...

I am in the same situation as yours. I think there is no problem. Your background check was in IP1 and not in IP2 that you mentioned.
