@eas2lv We got response from OCI team they said "OCI process goes through a clearance process from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which cannot be interfered with." Not sure if it's a standard response. Anyone you came across on this thread who got same response?

Do you think there's a number to call and confirm why there's delay? It's ridiculous that Renewal takes longer than Fresh OCI (Thinking may be fees is only 35$ for renewal so they don't put much effort into it or if it goes to different department)

@eas2lv No nothing yet, She's thinking of walking in for Visa on Tuesday since her flight is booked for Nov 30th

Has anyone gone to Toronto BLS office recently? Just trying to see what sort of wait times are currently for Walk-ins. Wondering if its the same where people line up the night before to get their turn next morning.

@eas2lv Do you suggest my friend to apply for Visa (Her acknowledgement was Oct 18th) ? since she has her flight booked on Nov 30th. I am wondering if she will get her OCI processed next week. This is for renewal.

That seems to be the case for Toronto. You can check Toronto spreadsheet for my friends info. Her is still showing under process and many after her already got their OCI processed.

It was for my friend and Yes he applied from Toronto location and same situation. Renewal of OCI after crossing the age of 20 with new passport. What's your application and acknowledgement date?

@eas2lv I couldn't find any record for Re-issue of OCI in your spreadsheet. Do you know how long it takes after acknowledgement? I saw some posts in the past but can't find them. Asking for a friend whose acknowledgement was 18th Oct

This was on OCI website. I checked at around 2:30 PM EST to find out the status. Although earlier in the day it was Under Process.

No nothing for me either. It seems they didn't start working on files with acknowledgment Oct 10th.

I am not sure now but my wife and I went around 10 pm to get our turn the next day at about 10 am. This is on Sept 30th and Toronto BLS. I am not sure if things have become better since then. I'd suggest to go check the night before and see what's the situation and then decide accordingly.

Question: I am not able to see any record on OCI website for my details. I submitted application on 22nd Sept. Does it mean that the application is still at Consulate General in Toronto? I see on BLS it says Processing at Consulate General. Any input is appreciated.

Keep logging in that portal every now and then. CIC will probably upload soon. Make sure scroll all the way to the bottom just so you don't miss it, there should be a button to Download ecopr. In my case they uploaded couple days after portal account was created. Good luck, Hope you get...
