I never got AIP either. I got the same letter saying my application was completed. I even thought it could have been a bad thing. I've been waiting for the landing letter in Toronto for 3 weeks, but we have the busiest office. I hope it's faster for you in Montreal. congrats!

I am so sorry to hear about that. I would try to get a lawyer involved. Since it's not your fault and you did what you could. Try to appeal or something like that. Don't give up and have faith!

Oh I see. No, their deadline is just a month that you have to do the medicals (it's like that for everybody). I did mine 2 weeks ago. It depends on how soon the Doctor's office sends the info to CIC. The sooner you do it, sooner you will have an answer.

I've applied under Family Sponsorship in July 2014. January 11th 2016 received request for medical exams - which I completed on the 15th. Does that mean AIP is done? Does any one know how long will take to hear back from them?
