My work permit expires tomorrow. I've sent away a Bridging Open Work Permit application to buy me some more time in Canada. Hoping for a speedy nomination or else it will be bye bye Canada for a few months.

There is nothing stopping me from applying and getting implied status. I can still work until they refuse my application. Two separate lawyers have confirmed this for me. It's just buying me a couple of months before I have to stop working/leave Canada.
