After sending to Buffalo it took our case 7 month to move. That was back in Oct 2009. They move our case to Detroit (May 2010) and it was complete by October 7th. Now the timeline is more quickly check with others. I have seen case that within 3-5 months, depending on the visa office.

Sometimes it doesn't work because they are doing some updates in the system. One time I couldn't login for a week after that my case change to "In Process". But not sure about your case. Try again later this week.

Thanks. I checked the status and still "In Process" Nothing changed until now. I think you will get it soon. From my understanding Detroit and Buffalo are different office and the time line for each one is different. Good Luck with yours you should get it soon.

Our PPR letter said that the visa cannot be issue in any other office but Detroit. That was strange to me but maybe that is the reason. Each visa office has their quotas.

Keep the hope I just got passport request today after almost 3 months of waiting ... We are so happy and starting to make the plans to move to Canada.

I did medicals on July 14th and It was sent very quickly. It was received by Ottawa on July 19th and still no ppr. Almost 3 months... :(
