PPR ! Got the email yesterday at midnight Paris Time (6 pm Ottawa Time). I was very close to the 6 month mark. Just have to quit my job now :) Hope everyone get their PPR soon

I guess it took 2 months because CIC requested additional documents (Common Law Official Declaration) It went back to submitted. Hope so too mate

Hey everyone, I checked my application today and it showed "Updated". After almost two long months since my background check change to "In Progress", I hope it's some good news coming my way :) I hope everyone gets PPR soon. I'm FSW Outland, AOR Jan 9th (close to the 6 month mark now).

Hello everyone, Yesterday, at 113 days since AOR, I received an email stating that my application had been updated. On MyCIC I saw that my background check turned from not needed at this time to In Progress. I hope it's good news :)

Have you tried switching the language to French (on the top right). I had a similar issue and switching language worked. Also, are your pdf files less than 4Mb ?

Same thing here. I ordered them on March 4th through GCMSnow and no news since then...

If only... Do you have any details regarding those silent people getting PPRs ? I've passed the 3 month mark, I thought that the reduced number of ITA would decrease the processing time. I guess I just have to be more patient.

Hi guys, Just hit the two months mark (AOR Jan 09). It seems that CIC is not issuing much PPR these days, lets hope we have some good news before the end of the month :)

I'm a FSW Outland, got my OAR on 9th Jan, my Background Check changed from In progress (14th Jan) back to not needed (16th Jan). Hope you're right and it will be fast. Thing is, other FSW Outland applicants from other months haven't received their PPR yet, so I guess before our turn comes, CIC...

It's normal, usualy it takes a couple of month before some status change... We all hope that it will be quicker :)

I fully agree with you. In my opinion moving to Canada is not about making a lot of money. It's to live a good life. If you choose to start the PR process to Canada, it's important to get some informations first : the way people live there, the weather, the jobs you can apply to, the...

Maybe it's just your doctor taking time uploading the results online. I wouldn't read too much into it. If you have doubts about your medical exams, maybe call your doctor to make sure everything is all-right.

Hi guys, I'm also FSW Outland Here is my timeline : ITA - Dec 18th AOR - Jan 9th Review in progress Medical passed - Jan 11th Background check in progress - Jan 14th Background check not needed at this time - Jan 16th I added myself to the spreadsheet. Hope it will go fast for everyone.
