Hi Seniors, I need to appear in medical examination and my passport has been expired. should I first get new passport before appearing in medical or can I go with my expired passport? Any Suggestions. Do they check expiry date?

I believe it was from London VO and I will check whether it was regular or registered mail. I was not at home when it was delivered. I will let you know

I got it via normal mail. I have not sent any original documents apart from Police character certificates and IELTS score. I sent notorized degree and Universities sealed result cards.

Pleas update my status. To my shocking pleasent surprise I received medical on 06-03-2012. Thanks to Almighty Allah (swt) :) Also I need to send updated forms. Police certificate and fee for RPRF.

By the grace of Allah (swt) I also got this magical line. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 28, 2012. May Allah bless all of us

I am just wondering about the pre June applicants, who sent their document from April 2010 onwards directly to London VO.. did any of them contacted by visa office apart from 2nd AOR. For anything like additional documents request or incomplete application etc?

This timeline is true. It is calculated as average of all the cases completed so far. This time line will increase by the end of this year since now there will be many cases taking more than 2 years. And you are correct that this does not indicate how long it will take to process our cases...

yup I knew soon others will also start receiving such reply. Worst is that I am confuse in whether these two years are from the date of sending the documents at VO or from now (April 2011). :(. This should be confirmed from Visa Office somehow or from some one having more insight.

I think they deserve to be suit. what they have done is very criminal... May be we all should now write them to clearly give us new time line. It is very hard to sit on "Two years or more".

Yup things are really worst now. I did some simple calculation. I think we all should be aware of actual situation. 144K backlog files 68K visa to be issued in 2011... I think I read this figure somewhere some time ago 20K (approximately) visas for new MI 48K from Backlog.... so at the end...

In my opinion In Process statuses are not correct. Probably system is out of sync. As we can see many people sent there documents in March April have status RVO and other who sent in October November have there status turned in process almost as soon as 2nd AOR received. Plus many people in New...
