Thanks One_Topsy. that's what I thought but the person helping me said I need to provide letter from Canadian authorities requesting PCC of which they don't provide any. Just hoping someone who has done theirs recently can direct me how they did it. thanks in advance

My advice is get a very good lawyer to look at this and see if the refusal is in order or if a reconsideration is possible. Alternatively if you just go ahead and apply for restoration its most likely to visitor status and no guarantee you will get it. All the best!

I believe restoring to visitor status can only be done after first refusal, after second refusal its probably not possible to do any restorations. Kenny you make very valid points. Given the current processing time of 4-5months, I think its fair to say the PGWP is a one-shot deal and if you ever face a refusal, only sure thing is to restore to visitor status. We only pray for mercy and favor for our cases and for those who believe in God...

am in exact same situation but haven't received decision yet but have been thinking ahead just incase. So far the only option is either leave Canada or appeal to federal court as far as I know. Take heart!
