So from PDOS website, exempted ang parents ko kase seniors na sila. But they have to register in person sa CFO. pero nung tinanong nila sa VFS kung kailangan pa nila ng PDOS, sabi sa kanila hindi na. And walang binigay sa kanila na info about pdos na kasama ng visa nila. Any comments? Thank you.

I think it means you're approved as a sponsor then they started processing PR application for your parents.

Hey so I'm just wondering what did your parents/grandparents do after landing? Do they have to look for a job? I know you have to apply for health card and SIN #. Then what else? Thank you. :)

haha! thanks so much. so I used 3 for family members included in application (i've been using 2) and it worked! so... what does checking of eligibility means? and also says we are processing your background check. medical exam is passed.

Sooo after my parents application was denied (due to a missing FBI clearance which they later said they don't need anymore), they reopened the application and just asked me to pay RPRF again as it was already refunded. No other additional documents needed. So how long is the wait time now for...

I know it's totally a misunderstanding big time on my part. I guess a single mistake can really cost you too much. You can't really afford to overlook or misunderstand something. I mean it's really easy to apply for an fbi clearance and it takes less than a week to get the result if applied...

I actually wrote in the travel history: 6mos USA and Canada for tourism. They did ask me for FBI clearance but since i was thinking at that time they meant police clearance from whichever country they reside. Since they never acknowledged that they indeed received the first police clearance I...

And i keep replying to them thru email telling them i already sent you Police clearances (and hey I've attached them again in this email) and then a month later i will receive an email saying we've never received ANY correspondence from you.

They didn't stay in US for 6mos. They stayed with me in Windsor for 6 mos (which is border city with Detroit )and just crossed the border periodically for visits with family; while they were here on a tourist visa. What do you think?
