I am just about to submit a paper application for extension on my visitor record. Hopefully when I get my PR, I'll go to the border for PR flag polling and take evidence that Is submitted an extension of my temporary resident status before expry. Thanks for your advice and response.

Given i am submitting a paper application, what proof can i show? Payment receipt and mail delivery confirmation. Please note I won't get any confirmation from cic that application has been submitted given it is not an online submission. Please advise.

I applied for my PR under CEC on Feb 8, 2016. Yet to hear back on the decision. My Visitor record which got extended for 6 months in Jan 2016 is about to expire (July 14, 2016). In case I do not get a PR by then, what am I supposed to do? If I apply for Visitor record extension online...

My mail was picked by FBI on Feb 9, 2016. Sent on Feb 4, 2016.
