Congrats!! Only if you have a Passport from a Visa Exempt Country, you are required to send your copy of Passport. If you are NOT from a Visa exempt country, you are required to send your original passport.

Still no updates on my profile :-( I am getting worried now! I see that for people who sent their passports on 7th Mar have got their application approved. Mine reached on 7th too but it isn't approved yet....

I did email them and they asked me for the tracking number of the passport post. But I am worried as it has only my Passports. I have to send my spouse's passport and also the photos. I am concerned as they would need to put these together and I am not sure if they would do it(taking so much...

You can try moving your return flight to a date before 8th. If that cannot be done then you will have to complete landing tomorrow. You can apply for PR travel doc from the country where you are visiting.
