My wife and I landed on jan 24. I got my PR card on mar 14 but my wife is still waiting. "After" calling CIC, she received an e-mail requesting resubmission of photos. She sent it in the first week of May and since then she did not hear back anything. This is so frustrating.

Congrats to all who got their PPRs today. And for the rest of July and Aug applicants, hang in there. Still 1 and half more wokring days to go!

Yes. You will receive an email clearly requesting you to send your passport, two recent photographs, a self-addressed envelope. Subject of the email is "Ready for Visa"

I think it's the case with everyone here. I got just the email too and nothing on MyCIC. I asked a couple of people and they confirmed the same

Thank you KingOfGoodTimes :-) I was confused becasue all my friends who got their PPR few weeks back had their myCIC updated too. Looks like the process has changed now. The wait from July 1st week is ocmpletely worth it. And respect to CIC for sticking to their "less than 6 months" timeline...
