i applied prtd recently online from india and got it in 9 days. its email approval and u hv to get letter of authorization within 30 days of travel via email, unless vacs are open and u can get stamping done. if they are not, letter of authorization on email will work.

Is it possible? If one has done soft landing and plans to move to Canada soon but did not apply SIN number at time of soft landing, can that be done online, before moving back itself?

i went through link on cic website which mentions 50 dollars and paid using an Indian International Debit card. I had my doubts but it went through perhaps because it was international debit card.

it is mentioned that all travel documents have to be attached and copr is probably the most important one in this context.

urgent queries-- 1 photo specs fornprtd say 70 by 50 mm but those pics do not fit into the box when form is printed out. how did u guys go ahead? did u not the picture ? 2 i did soft landing and dont have any permanent address. should i put friends address woth phone number as n/a?

i am applying for prtd but my travel date isnt fixed. it can be jan end or feb. what date should i mention in prtd application? i am applying via mail. can I leave it blank? or do i need to put dome date

If you have PRTD approval, why did you require letter of authorization to travel? Do you have PRTD approved or was it rejected?

I did soft landing in March 2018. My PR card is in Canada and I don't have SIN card. I am planning to move to Canada in December. I understand I need to apply for PRTD. Has anyone done it online? All VACs in India are closed and so online is the only option.

I am in India and my pr card is in toronto. One of my friends is flying back to India soon. Is it fine if I ask him to collect it for me? can it cause me issues when i return back to Toronto? or to the people whom it was mailed? is it illegal in anyway?

Ok I was asking about leaving Canada, not returning. :) I believe Immigration check happens even at time of leaving the country for everyone, the stamping that person is leaving happens. Hence I mention Canadian Immigration.

Say if one has immigrant visa (CoPR) till 20th April. Now the person marries by then and informs CIC for change of status. The medicals is expired for this person and so will have to be re-done with spouse. So CIC will issue new visas for the person and the spouse. What is the duration of this...

Immigration visa is till say 20th March (CoPR validity). If one goes before 20th and does landing process and returns on say 25th, will there be issues at Canada immigration on 25th because the person won't be having PR card by then? I am pretty sure it won't, still confirming.
