    Sorry, did you mean you have got PR now or you just applied for it? If you have PR then you don't need a work permit only a SIN number, if you applied for PR from within Canada and currently have legal status you may apply for a work permit, however if you applied from outside Canada or left...

    You don't need a work permit but you will need to get a SIN card form a service Canada office.

    Same for me, I submitted my CEC at the end of July 2014, it was received on August 6th 2014. It says " In Process" "We started processing your application on October 27, 2014."
