Quick question for you guys.. What date is shown at the bottom of the ECAS page? until yesterday my page was showing Dec 15th 2015 but today, surprisingly, it shows May 2nd 2016... Is it so for everybody?

I cannot see the end. It's incredible. May 15th 2015 was Friday. Monday May 18th 2015 was holiday almost everywhere. Two days to May 20th 2015. And still nothing...

if you ask me, I would risk 30 cents of copies just to send them the whole document...

To be sure I would send copies of the entire passport...

it depends if you are visa exempt or not... probably, considering the fact that you are talking about the visa stamp in your passport, you are not from a Visa exempt country so you've to send the passport..

It seems so.. I tried to find a pattern in the release of the dm / ppr but I clearly failed. Looking at what is happening to the June / July applicants it seems that they have modified their way to work. At this point I think that for May applicants any day can be good to receive some good news..

You can apply for your work permit renewal even the same day of the expiration. In any case (even if you apply immediately) you are going to fall in the "implied status" due to the processing times. At this point I can only suggest you to wait until, lets say, beginning of June and then, in case...

Maybe I am wrong, but if they follow the same pattern that they used to send us MR in December, we should expect the next batch between next Tuesday and Tuesday April 26th ...
